Interlinking Junk Food as Viruddha Aahara and Exploring Its Role as Dushivisha
Abstract
For a healthy life, everyone needs a healthy and balanced diet. Nowadays food habits and lifestyle have been modified according to the profession of individual. Everyone is frequently consuming incompatible food or junk food. As per Ayurveda incompatible diet i.e. Viruddha Aahara is one of the root causes of various health problems. Both junk food and Viruddha Aahara has major role in exploration of Dushi visha. Diet is a basic and important factor required for continuation of life. But it should be ingested in definite manner to build the body and maintain the healthy state of body, but in case of incompatible diet instead of surviving life it becomes harmful to body presenting various kind of diseases due to chronic exposure. Ancient Acharya explained Incompatible diet acts nothing but Dushi Visha.
