Less Known Alice in Wonderland Syndrome: An Overview

Abstract


Alice in Wonderland syndrome, commonly abbreviated as AIWS or AWS, is a disorienting neurological ailment characterized by a set of symptoms that affect and alter the patient’s perception.in this the person experience a wide range of distortions in the perception of size, including micropsia, macropsia, teleopsia or pelopsia. Some of the suspected causes in causing the disease are head trauma, migraines Infection, tumours etc. There is no treatment for Alice in Wonderland Syndrome. The best way to treat this condition is simply by helping the patient become more comfortable.
