A Study to Assess the Effectiveness of Planned Teaching Programme on Knowledge Regarding Preconception Care among Adolescents of Selected Colleges of Ahmedabad

Abstract

An investigator conducted study to assess the effectiveness of Planned Teaching Programme regarding pre conception care among adolescents of selected colleges of Ahmadabad. Objective of the study were to assess the knowledge of adolescent before and after administration of Planned Teaching Programme. The investigator has choosen the quasi experimental research design.  120 adolescents of selected colleges were selected as a sample by non probability convenient sampling technique. The data were analysed using pre test and post test knowledge score and standard deviation. The various finding of the study shows that the planned teaching programme developed by the researcher was found to be effective in enhancing the knowledge of Adolescents.
