Abstract

A wide range of processes that include the representation of visual perception are studied and analyzed in the domain of computer vision. The domain also comprises of various techniques such as image processing, geometric modelling, pattern classification, etc. The applications of computer vision have a range from hospital room to manufacturing industries and up to the surface of Mars. In this paper we aim to provide an overview of the general aspects of computer vision and its applications.

Keywords: Computer vision, models and algorithm, applications of computer vision, computer vision subsystems
