Restoring the Aesthetics and Function of Fractured Anterior Teeth Using BruxZir Anterior: A Case Report
Abstract
The most commonly affected teeth by trauma are the maxillary central incisors. Many cosmetic treatments are available to regain dental aesthetics, but if this trauma is not treated, personal problems can occur, such as difficulties in smiling, laughing, and eating, as well as emotional problems associated with public contact. To fabricate a crown for maxillary incisors is a challenging procedure. The patient demands high aesthetic and the final result usually depend on the ability of the dental technician and his knowledge of optical properties of the material and teeth. Average normal dental technician can do better shade matching with available all-ceramic systems than metal-ceramic systems.
