Retreatodontics in Mandibular First Molar: A Case Report
Abstract
Endodontic retreatment is an integral component of the endodontics which encompasses the efforts to salvage a failing previously endodontically treated tooth. A case is presented of a mandibular first molar which was earlier endodontically treated and during the course of a period; it developed symptoms radiographically and clinically. With patience and effort, required success was achieved. Certainly, restoring a tooth to normalcy enhances the clinician’s confidence in his own skill and patient’s trust by ducking the psychological stress of surgical intervention.
