Gyanendra kumar Gupta, Gagan Devi

Abstract

The breast consists of mammary glands, associated skin, and connective tissue. The mammary glands are modified sweat glands in superficial fascia anterior to the pectoral and therefore to the anterior thoracic wall. In non-lactating women, the predominant component of the breast is fat while glandular tissue is more abundant in lactating women. So in this article, a conceptual study of breast development during pregnancy is explained in detail to understand its basics.
