A Study to Assess the Knowledge regarding Antenatal Care among the Antenatal Mothers in Selected Hospital, Ratnagiri

Abstract


 

The purpose of the present study was to assess the knowledge regarding antenatal care among the antenatal mothers in selected hospital Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India. A total of 60 samples of nonprobability convenience sampling technique were used. Total four demographic variables were assessed for knowledge regarding antenatal care. Total 60 samples were selected for the study. Following findings were noted. Finding related to age of the subject: in the study as per finding, 17% population were from 18–22 years, 35% population were from 28–32 years and 11% population were from 33–37 years. Finding related to education of the subject: In this study as per finding, 26.66% of them were primary education, 40% of them were secondary education, 23.33% of them were graduates and 10% of them were other. Finding related to gravida of the subject: In this study as per finding, 37% of prime gravida and 63% of them were having multigravida. Finding related to registration of the subject: In this study as per finding, 100% all female were registrated.
