How to Treat Mental Health Disorder during COVID-19 Pandemic?

Abstract


The COVID-19 pandemic is a major health crisis affecting all nations. The present study discussed the mental health condition during COVID-19 occurrence among healthcare professionals, patients and huge population. The COVID-19 epidemic has been spreading at a fast pace in India, USA, Russia, China, Italy, France and other Asian and European countries. This COVID-19 epidemic has rapidly increased attention all over the world. The patients, healthcare professionals, medical equipment providers and the population are under mental pressure which may cause various types of psychological disorders, such as depression, anxiety, fear and insomnia. The present study was a research study about psychological problems due to COVID-19. We collected information related to COVID-19 and psychological distress using different search portals such as Google, Researchgate, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, Nature and the World Health Organization  (WHO) guidelines. Information related to the present research work was collected. Community health and psychiatrists have reached a decision about the major mental illness during the COVID-19 epidemic among healthcare workers, hospital patient and citizens. But, the rapid spreading of corona disease has come out as a big challenge to the psychological health services in COVID-19 affected countries.
