Side Incidence and Age Prevalence: Inguinal Hernia
Abstract
Inguinal hernia is one of the most common presentations in the surgical outpatient department and mesh hernioplasty is the most common surgical procedure performed by a general surgeon. Patient data were taken from the Department of General Surgery and analysed to reveal that right-sided inguinal hernia is more common as compared to left sided. The most common age group involved was 51–60 years.
