To Develop the Assessment Criteria of Gurū and Snigdha Guna of Shukra with Respect to Musalyadi Churna on Shukra Dhatu Kshaya (Oligospermia)

Abstract


In the present era due to change in our lifestyle we are facing many problems related to health specially, Shukradhatukshaya. Many couples did not have issue. By keeping in mind the ratio of Shukradhatukshya increasing, this research work was done to treat the problem of Shukradhatukshya based on Ayurvedic principals. Total 40 oligospermia patient were registered and assessed the subjective parameter in grading pattern 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 and objective parameter volume, liquefaction time, RLP, SLP, Ph, sperm counts and IM in before and after treatment. Subjects were treated with mushalyadi churna, mishri and milk twice in day for 45 days. Subjective and objective parameter were assessed by graph pad 3 and found to significant. Mushalyadi churna has beneficial effect in shukrakshaya and increased guruta and snigdhata of shukra.
