Guidance of SKY Yoga and Meditation on the Study Skill Level of the College Student
Abstract
Purpose: To educated the student how to handle the situation and act accordingly which helps them in their studies and in the later part of the life. Methodology: The college students from Chennai were selected as subjects for the study. The total of 40 students were selected has subjects and their age between 17 to 21 years. The subjects divided into two groups each contain 20 members. Experimental Group were given SKY yoga (Vethathiri Maharishi's Simplified Kundalini Yoga) and meditation training for 10 weeks and control group were kept in rest. Results: The study shown that dramatic improvement in their study skill measured by questioner method of the Experimental groups than the control group subjects. The study skill has increased this shown that SKY yoga and meditation make to be concentrated and improved his tackling skill. Conclusion: The result shown that SKY Yoga and meditation on college students has been impact positively on the mental strength and stability.
