We can increase this learnt behavior by making effort to teach a child about the difference between good touch and bad touch in early age. Child protective services in 2010, reported that among child maltreatment cases, 17% suffered physical abuse, 9% sexual abuse, 63% neglect and 7% emotional abuse. Objectives: 1: To assess the pre-test knowledge on good touch and bad touch among school children. 2: To develop video-assisted teaching programme on knowledge regarding good touch and bad touch among school children. 3: To find the association between pre-test and post-test knowledge on video-assisted teaching programme on knowledge regarding good touch and bad touch among school children with their selected demographic variables. Methodology: One group pre-test and post-test pre experiment design was applied for this study; pre-test assessment of knowledge about good touch and bad touch; structured programme on good touch and bad touch; post-test after 7 days of sip on knowledge and attitude about good touch and bad touch. Result: The result is pretest, 38% of them had moderately adequate knowledge and 30% of them had inadequate knowledge. After video-assisted teaching programme, 32% of them had adequate knowledge and only 6% of them had inadequate knowledge in post-test. The effectiveness of video-assisted teaching programmed was statistically tested by ‘6’ value and the results were found to be significant at (P<0.01). Conclusion: The present study assessed the knowledge among the subjects regarding promotion of good touch and bad touch and found that the subjects had inadequate knowledge of promotion of good touch and bad touch before pre-test.
