Abstract

In day today Modern era,Digestive disorders are becoming a very common disorder affecting large no of people. . Digestion is a multi stage process in the digestive system which start from ingestion of raw material in oral cavity,followed by various process such as mastication,deglutition,formation of bolus,formation of chyme ,followed by chemical conversion by the action of enzymes along with formation of various waste products. It should be further noted that simultaneous absorption along with digestion is an essential factor for complete digestion.

The Goal of this article is to explain the detailed physiology of digestion wsr to digestion of carbohydrate,proteins and fat.
