Sky Maharasana Yogic Exercise for Postural Problems

Abstract


The purpose of the study was to sort out the benefits of SKY Maharasana Yogic Exercise (SKYMYE) practices to relieve from the postural problems of the back pain among working women. It was hypothesized that there would be significant differences in postural problems with the effect of SKYMYE practices among the working women. For the present study, 50 female working women from Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu were selected at random and their age ranged from 30 to 50 years. The subjects of Group A underwent SKYMYE practices. The data were collected before and after 10 months of SKYMHYE practices. The data were analyzed by applying dependent mean, standard deviation and t-test. The level of significance was set at <5%. It was analyzed using a general health questionnaire and physical test. The SKYMYE practices had a positive impact on the physical health in the working women. The experimental subjects showed better improvement on postural problems in the working women.
