Bionic Prosthetic with Internet of things (IoT)

Neeraj Bhardwaj, Lokesh Tak

Abstract

The visually impaired (VI) people often experience difficulties when traveling on foot, when they are forced to the non-spreading side with vendors, animals and other obstacles. No single system can fully accommodate all their transportation needs. The proposed system aims to provide the appropriate VI assistance to assist their white cane using IoT principles. It detects any obstacles that lie down in its course and alerts the user to them and uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) technology that is part of any smart phone, to pinpoint the location of the VI where necessary. The answer system, which is basically a simple test, scares the user of any obstacle, and notifies the monitors directly about VI where you are now, made by moving VI links to a registered mobile number included in the Android app.
