Abstract

There are so many patients who seek orthodontic treatment for correction of poor esthetic, abnormal functions and speech. The orthodontic treatment improves the esthetics, but not without potentials risks. Every orthodontist wants that the treatment should be accurate for each and every patient without discomforts, pain and long-term side effects. There are so many risks associated with the orthodontic treatment which may be either iatrogenic or inherent. This paper comprises of the various damages of orthodontic treatment and their managements.
