Non-surgical endodontic re-treatment has a successful long-term outcome for failed root canal cases. However at times it can be complex and challenging. This may sometimes involve the removal of an existing post in the root canal. Various techniques have been advocated for the removal of existing post from the root canal. The present case report is about the successful retrieval of fractured cast post with the help of ultrasonics and file braiding technique.
