Pandemia 2020: Gateway to the Golden Hour

Meghna Mathur, Ritu Soryan

Abstract

This research work emphasizes on the alterations and additions of the growth and innovation during this uncertain period of COVID-19. Pandemic being used as an opportunity to grow and glow in the respective field is as inspirational as it sounds. The shining growth may vary from person to person according to an individual's interpretation. John F. Kennedy once observed that the word “crisis” is composed of two characters: one representing danger and the other opportunity. Well, linguistically it sure sounds contradictory but the sentimental value is true enough; a crisis presents a choice and the person is truly the one to uphold that; which is particularly true today? The pandemic has surely started its own revolution in this era, while for some, it has been the bane and for some the boon. COVID-19 has been an eye opener not only in the humanitarian belief but also on the technical level as well. The generation gap, which was quite an interesting topic to argue about, is not left now particularly. The social distancing has brought our grandparents closer to the social media which was the topic of cursing at every point. The gap was because of lack of right understanding and awareness. Now when the pandemic hit us hard, a new social revolution began in the real world. The crises gave us the 24×7 which every person complained they did not have. The pandemic was an internal peace vacation for which you had to invest your creativity and passion. As insightful as we can get the COVID-19 did force every individual to stop and analyse to what they really want and what they really aspire to become. Our resolutions and revolutions depend on how well we can introspect the situation and observe our surroundings; pandemic has not only been the key to do that but has been an opportunity to every second-guessed passion we never get to ponder upon. While we are down to this exploration journey, pandemic has been the catalyst for the innovations and inventions in the technical field, the development works which might have taken years were pushed forward to get accomplished. The educational background which was confided with the four walls is introduced to a new virtual horizon. Several of applications’ development meet and greet scenarios; this pandemic has really brought one very genuine revolutionary change. And while everybody is performing his/her duty with full, zeal the real question is ‘Are we satisfied with the changes’? This study aims at providing an insightful perspective in to the aspects of pandemic being an opportunity for growth and innovation in view of real-life situations.
