Various Aging Factors and Their Significant Impacts on the Skin

Abhishek Kumar, Anuska Singh, Shubham Tripathi, Vidisha Bajpai

Abstract

As the average lifespan in developed nations rises, proper aged skin care has become a dermatological concern. The complicated, multifaceted process of skin aging has a genetically established baseline pace but can also be sped up by socioeconomic, mechanical, or environmental variables. Skin fragility, skin resiliency, the danger of toxicological injuries, the promotion of the development of different cutaneous illnesses, and aesthetically unfavorable consequences like wrinkles and uneven pigmentation are all increased by the fundamental structural changes that take place with skin aging. Because older patients make up a higher portion of the population, it will be essential to pay more attention to the issues with more aged skin, both aesthetic and non-cosmetic, and to build on the effective treatments already in place to enhance their quality of life. According to specific reports, age, and overall inner- health state are reflected in the skin. Science and medicine throughout the world have long found nutrition and how it affects the skin to be fascinating topics. To maintain a youthful skin look, several plant extracts, including vitamins, carotenoids, tocopherols, flavonoids, and others, have been widely employed in the skin care business as dietary supplements or topically applied treatments.
