Influenza Vaccination for Health Care Workers: Policy Options
Abstract
Health organizations consider immunization as an effective way to deal with seasonal influenza. As influenza is one of the common nosocomial infections, vaccination of health care workers has been considered as an effective way to reduce the spread of disease. This paper is an analytical approach to understand the possible ways to improve the vaccination rates of health care workers in a province of Canada. This analysis can be helpful for both developed and developing countries in analyzing their context and in dealing with their current situation.
