Prevalence of the Musculoskeletal Disorders among School Teachers
Abstract
Background: Musculoskeletal disorders represent one of the most common occupational health problems in working population. According to pain location, these disorders are put into different categories. One is upper limb disorders which include disorders from fingers to shoulder or neck. Another category is lower limb disorder which includes disorders from hip to toes. Objective: This study helps to provide a base line to find the prevalence of the musculoskeletal disorders among school teachers. Methodology: A cross sectional study design with purposive sampling of 60 subjects who met the inclusion criteria which include teaching experience around 15‑20 years.
