Abstract

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is one of the commonest avoidable cause which leads to significant morbidity and mortality and is responsible for increased total number of lost days to work. Due to biomechanics of the spine, chances of injury are more at the junction of two different segments of vertebrae. This study provides overview of different aspects of junctional injury with special emphasis to dorsolumbar (DL) junction.
