Leukemia Presenting as Guillain-Barré Syndrome: A case Report

Abstract

This case report shows an extremely rare initial manifestation of Leukemia in which patient presents with GBS like clinical pattern. A young lady presents with few days’ history of ascending areflexic quadriparesis with cranial nerve and respiratory involvement. On investigation, she was detected to have Acute Leukemia as the underlying cause. Thus, this case highlights the importance of ruling out haematological malignancies in case of Atypical GBS.
