Abstract

Hospital waste is “Any waste that is generated within the diagnosing, treatment or   immunization of kith and kin one or animals or in research” in an exceedingly hospital. Hospital waste may be a special variety of waste created in little quantities carrying a high potential of infection and a couple of injury. If hospital waste is not effectively managed, there are substantial health consequences from a public health perspective. Hospital waste management refers to the management of waste generated by hospitals, with the goal of preventing disease spread by hospital waste. Hospital waste consists of each risk waste and non- risk waste Infectious waste, pathological waste, pharmaceutical waste, sharps, chemicals, Genotoxic waste, and radioactive waste are all examples of risk waste. Garbage and other routine material, including that produced by leftover food and its packaging, is considered non-risk waste.
