Leprosy, also known as Hansen's disease, is a chronic infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium leprae. Clinical features depend on the immune status of the patient but usually involve skin and peripheral nerves. The lesions are usually anesthetic which can lead to ulceration and non healing wounds. Therefore, the management of a burns injury in a patient who is suffering with leprosy becomes challenging. Advanced methods of wound management using Autologous Platelet rich plasma(APRP) and low level laser therapy(LLLT) have to be incorporated into the management for a good outcome
