Abstract

Purpose: The Present Concept is given to help for diagnosis of pathogenesis of ageing disorder due to dushivisha. To establish as concept for pathogenesis in ageing disorder especially of unknown etiology and idiopathic nature concluded as dushivisha. To forms different way of treatment on the behalf of dushivisha.

Methods: All aspects of dushivisha are studied in detail. Selection of all logical references are done and collection, correlation and explanation as per required. According to sign & symptoms of dushivisha which is described especially in charaka & sushruta’s text. All ayurvedic references regarding dushivisha are collected from ayurvedic fundamental books and various textbooks, research article and through internet.

Results: Theoretically, it will breakdown the pathogenesis of disease and gives the direction of treatment of same etiopathological disorder. It can be useful for disease which comes under area of dushivisha. We can treat all many ageing disorder (caused by dushivisha) by using the treatment line of dushivisha, e.g. shodhana-process/Panchakarma (Biopurification), vishaghan dravya, visha nashak agad and Rasayan therapy.

Conclusion: On the basis of concept of dushivisha, it can be used in today’s era for diagnosis and treatment of ageing disorder, which is caused by unknown etiology, idiopathic nature and autoimmune disorder.
