Risk of Contemporary Life Style on Fertility of Males and Females

Abstract


Infertility implies a man or woman is not capable to reproduce. In entire cases of infertility, males are straightforwardly answerable in about 30-40%, females in 40-50% and both are responsible in 10% cases. Nowadays, Zygote Intra Fallopian Transfer like infertility treatments is more than $ 3 billion industry, a year. The present study was considered to find out the relation between infertility and contemporary life-style of men and women. In outcome, Phthalates in plastic items, Perfluoroctanoic acid in coated non-stick vessels, Atrazine as pesticides, nonylphenol in detergent etc. are found as responsible for increasing infertility. Smoking, tobacco, alcohol, coffee, stress etc. cause erectile dysfunction in males while loss of libido in females. Job-related risk with aluminium, nickel, cadmium, lead, and welding-fume industries are the causal agents as sperm killer. Medicines such as Nitrofurantoin, Cimetidine, Spironolactone etc. are found as cause of infertility. Therefore it is concluded that positively there is a most important role of modern life-style as contributing factor in infertility.
