To Develop a Checklist on Availability and Utilization of Equipments and Supplies for Labor Room and Obstetric Emergency Setting

The maternal mortality rate is high at the time of delivery and also associated with obstetric emergencies (like PPH and Eclampsia). It is important to have emergency care available in case it is needed at the time of delivery, after birth or during any obstetric emergency. The checklist use for improving the health has a large evidence base and checklist based solutions has been shown to reduce complications that help to save lives. So, a methodological design was adopted to develop checklist for labor room and obstetric emergency setting with objective to assess the availability and utilization of equipment and supplies.
