National Immunization Schedule India: A Review

Abstract

Immunization is one of the key interventions to prevent vaccine preventable deaths. In the recent years, after the launch of National Health Mission, many new changes have been brought in the National Immunization Schedule including introduction of newer vaccines like Japanese Encephalitis, rotavirus and IPV. This article aims to understand the recent changes in the immunization schedule.
