Abstract

Hypothyroidism is one among general health problem in India and also in worldwide. Data reveals prevalence of hypothyroidism in adult Indian population. Its prevalence was more in Female gender and older age. It affects approximately one in 10 adults in the study population. Subclinical hypothyroidism and anti-TPO antibody positivity were the other most common observations along with Clinical Hypothyroidism.
