Abstract

This paper describes the different testing parameters and qualitative analysis of pharmaceuticals products. Pharmaceutical Industries employs microbiological analysis to improve the viability of drugs or other products such as preservatives, antibiotics, etc. Majorly tests of pharmaceutical products namely Antibiotic Assay, Sterility Test, Growth Promoting Test, and the Antimicrobial Preservatives Efficacy Test are done to check the viability or efficiency of these drugs & other pharmaceutical products to ensure the quality of these products. These papers deal with testing procedures employs for antibiotic assay & their role in the microbiology lab as per the standard. Antibiotic Assay is executed different bacterial strains for drug to check the effectiveness of Polymyxin-B Sulphate antibiotic.
