Comparison on the Anti-Diabetic Effect of NIKU Plus Versus Madhumega chooranam
Abstract
The path breaking revolutionary proprietary Siddha drug NIKU plus was evaluated for the anti-diabetic activity and was compared with madhumegachooranam. The study findings clearly showed that NIKU is superior over madhumegachooranam. The careful integration of Siddha wisdom and modern science is attributed for the superior efficacy of NIKU plus over madhumegachooranam. The present study does not suggest the inferior efficacy of madhumegachooranam but highlights NIKU plus to be an improved version of a siddha formulation. Details are given in the study.
