Sharbat Faulad—A Herbal Medicine: An Overview

Anemia is defined as decrease in total amount of hemoglobin or red blood cells. According to world health organization India has the highest number of anemic cases. According to Unani concept altered temperament of liver is the most important cause of anemia while pallor of body, face and feet, edema over face, dyspepsia, flatulence, disturbed bowel habits, appetite and sleep along with stomatitis, glossitis, general weakness, delayed wound healing are considered important symptoms of anemia. There are many Unani formulations available in the market for treating anemia but Sharbat Faulad is one of its kind. It is a hundred percent herbal formulation, easily absorbable in the intestine, having no side effects. This herbal formulation after consumption improves hemoglobin along with RBC count as well help in improving clinical and subjective parameters. Therefore Sharbat Faulad can be incorporated in our daily life for better living.
