Understanding the Efficacy of Homoeopathy in treatment of Parasomnia

Abstract
Parasomnias are a group of sleep disorders characterized by abnormal, unpleasant motor, verbal or behavioural events that occur during sleep or wake. Their treatment shows limited success with increase in daytime somnolence. Hence, this retrospective case series of 30 cases aimed to understand the efficacy of holistic homeopathic approach for the treatment of Parasomnia. In this study 64% of the patients subjective assessment showed satisfactory control and reduction in frequency of Parasomnia; 33% showed total resolution of Parasomnia with individualised holistic homeopathic approach.
