Understanding the Efficacy of Homoeopathic Remedies in the Treatment of Psoriasis

Neha Patel

Abstract

Psoriasis is a common chronic inflammatory skin disease with a spectrum of clinical phenotypes and results from the interplay of genetic, environmental, and immunological factors. As the holistic individualized homeopathic approach deals with the interplay of all the factors external and internal, an evidence-based study would help us understand its effectiveness. This prospective case series of thirty cases of Psoriasis attempts to understand the efficacy of homoeopathy using psoriasis area and severity index (PASI) scores for an evidence-based analysis of such a challenging condition.
