Abstract


Unani System of medicine is one in every of the ancient systems that overcomes untill date with its well-organized medicines derived from animal, plant and mineral resources. Over 2400 years past, the father of medicine Hippocrates practiced it; but His medication enclosed an excellent deal of ancient Egyptian medicine additionally as necessary elements of the traditional Mesopotamian traditions. In standard medicine, Palpitation is defined as an uncomfortable alertness of one’s own heartbeat and may be a medical entity with varied reasons starting from gentle causes to serious arrhythmias. In Unani system of medicine, the recent correspondent word for palpitation is Khafaqān. An oversized variety of medicines, single and compound formulation are mentioned within the context of the treatment of Khafaqān. Dawa ul Misk Motadil Sada is one amongst the foremost reputed poly pharmaceutical preparations of Unani system of Medicine utilized in Khafaqān, as cardiac stimulant in arrhythmia and as general tonic.
