Vulnerable Groups and Their Health-related Problems

Abstract

Vulnerable people are those who are weak, easily exposed to abuse and exploitation, and who are not able to protect themselves and their rights. It is seen in the studies conducted in the past years that the individuals who are among the vulnerable groups are adversely affected majorly by these studies. The prejudice against these groups or people that they are inadequate makes the individuals vulnerable to abuse. For this reason, they are used either in hospitals or in clinical trials, with ignorance or without respect to their rights.
