Abstract

Introduction: In Ayurveda, Rasayana drugs are described as Swasthasya Urjaskara and Aturasy Rognut. Amalaki, Haritaki, Guduchi, Ashwagandha and many more drugs have Rasayana properties. But the acceptability of this traditional concept and principle need to be validated on scientific basis is today’s need of time. Hence fore, Ayurvedic pharmacology have been analysed on modern parameters so one can understand the modern pharmacology of such kind of Rasayana properties properly.
