According to Acharya Sharangdhar disorders of Vata-Rakta Ruja or Shula (pain) present in Bhru, Shankha, Akshi, Shir, Karna, Suryavarta and Ardhavabhedaka can be cured or treated by Kumkuma Nasya. Quantity of its ingredients is not mentioned. There is a need for the present era to comprehend the quantities of the ingredients. Hence, the present work was under-taken to determine the quantities of the Kumkuma Nasya formulation. Aim: To fix dose of each individual ingredient of Kumkuma Nasya. Methodology: Relevant literary search of Ayurvedic classical texts, electronic media, PubMed, indexed journals, and scholar articles is carried out, and the observations were recorded. Observation and Results: By using Madhyam Matra in pain level 3 of Ardhavabhedaka, patient didn’t get 100% relief at the end of 10th day. As this dose level is slightly high for the pain level of 1 patients, they got faster relief and in patient of pain level of 2 they got significant relief on 10th day instead of within 9 days. Conclusions: Quantity of ingredients of Kumkuma Nasya-1) for preparation of Heena Matra (dose) are as follows: Kumkuma 5 mg, Goghrita 59 μL (1 drop), Godugdha 0.49 ml, Sharkara 5 mg; 2) for preparation of Mdhyama Matra (dose) are as follows: Kumkuma 19 mg, Goghrita118 μL (2 drops), Godugdha 1.98 ml, Sharkara 19 mg; 3) for preparation of Uttama Matra (dose) are as follows: Kumkuma 39 mg, Goghrita177 μL (3 drops), Godugdha 3.96 ml, Sharkara 39 mg.
