Abstract

Rasashastra is the most important and popular branch of Ayurveda. Rasaushadhies are less in doses form, quick effective, palatable and long shelf life. These metallic and mineral preparations became highly popular and most effective remedies in Ayurvedic therapeutic. Shalakyatantra is one of the branches of Ayurveda which deals with Urdhvajatrugata roga. For Shalakyatantra disorder in Rasashastra, a number of medicines are available to treat the disease. Here I tried to find an easiest and suitable Aushadhi and their application for the disorders of shalakyatantra from Rasatarangini which is a popular and authentic text of Rasashastra.
