Abstract

Cosmetic formulations meant for dandruff must contain unique benefits that are linked closely with therapeutic effect and the formulations also require high level of safety considerations. The cosmetic formulations meant for dandruff and scalp scales conditions need to be very safe as the scalp is already inflamed or scaling and is sensitive. The products for dandruff and scalp scales should not have the potential for irritancy and also tendency to produce irritation. The current study was done on human subjects to check the skin irritancy nature and potential by skin irritancy test and skin sensitization test. study findings shows that the product does not cause any irritancy and sensitization in the human subjects.
