Hepatitis B Viruses: An Overview

Abstract

Viruses are no longer confused with their virions, but rather as sophisticated living creatures that change the infected cell into a novel organism, the virus generating virions. Viruses have been given new classifications, and their place in the global tree of life is being debated. This scenario is fast changing as a result of various discoveries that have altered our understanding of viruses. I suggest that an organism be defined as an array of integrated organs (molecular or cellular) that produce people through natural selection. As a result, the state of knowledge in this extremely dynamic sector is examined, with an emphasis on previous successes as well as future ambitions.
