The Effect of Prepared Biochemical Compounds on Cancer Cells

Nagham Mahmood Aljamali

Abstract

The effect of prepared biochemical compounds affecting cancer cells, where the chemical compounds are divided into two parts, some of which are treatment for cancerous tumors, and others activate cancer cells such as glucose and sugars, which increase the size of the cancerous tumor and its spread in the body. While chemotherapy usually refers to the use of antitumor drugs to treat cancer through a cytotoxic treatment method. It also refers to antibiotics (antibacterial chemotherapy) for non-cancerous diseases. The first modern chemotherapeutic drug, aracenamine, is an arsenic discovered by Paul Ehrlich in 1909 and used to treat syphilis. This was followed by Gerhardt Dumac's discovery of a sulfonamide, as well as penicillin by Alexander Fleming. Chemotherapy kills cancer cells that multiply rapidly. This also damages normal cells that divide rapidly such as the nevi cells, the digestive system, and the hair follicle., Natural compounds have recently shown great efficacy in the treatment of cancer, including plant extracts and marine products, as well as extracts of arthropods such as venoms of bees, spiders, snakes, and scorpions. It is known that bee venom has an anti-blood-clotting effect, and it also stimulates the body to secrete cortisone, which is why it is useful in treating joints and increasing the body's immunity against diseases. Some try to use different bee products as a branch of alternative medicine called apitherapy. Many healers have used bee stings as a remedy for more than 5,000 years, for disorders such as headaches, joint pain, and skin allergies.
