Abstract
Mental and behavioural disorders are not exclusive to any special group, they are found in people of all regions, all countries and all societies. One person in four will develop one or more mental or behavioural disorders. Mental ill-health refers to mental health problems, symptoms and disorders, including mental health strain and symptoms related to temporary or persistent distress. Unani System of Medicine follows six essential factors for the persistence of life and without them life cannot be sustained. Harkat wa Sukoon-e-Nafsani (Psychological activity and Repose) is one of them and all the emotions of human being attributed to this. Moderation in infelat-e-nafsaniyah is the symbol of health and imbalanced infelat-e-nafsaniyah may cause psychological diseases or even death. Infelat-e-Nafsaniyah is basically responsible for psychological fold of human body. This article provides a conceptual frame work for research on Infelat-e-Nafsaniyah and its relation to pyschological disorder along with prevention of diseases through making changes or moderation in Infelat-e-Nafsaniyah.
