Abstract
The utterance Abhyanga is derived by prefixing abhi + anga. The Anga Dhatu is used for denoting motion. Therefore its literally meaning becomes motion in diverse route. Medicated ghee or oil may be used according to Prakriti, Ritu, Satmya, Dosha, Desha and Roga of the patient
