Protein Deficiency and Poisoning
Keywords:
protein, protein poisoning, protein deficiency, edema, fatty liverAbstract
Proteins are the building blocks of enzymes, hormones and many other important compounds. So it is important to maintain its balance in the body. Excess or deficiency of protein may lead to certain diseases which are harmful for the human system. Diseases such as edema, fatty liver, increase in severity of infection, greater appetite, more risk for bone fracture, skin hair and nail problem, less muscle mass, nausea, headache, mood changes, fatigue, low blood pressure, slow heart rate are reported to be caused due to an imbalance of proteins in human body. So it can be concluded that protein balance should be maintained in the body.References
